Maysville Area Chamber of Commerce Announces New Officers and Board Members for 2024

The Maysville Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the newly elected officers
and board members for the term beginning January 1, 2024. The outgoing Chair, Lori Ulrich,
leaves a remarkable legacy, overseeing the two highest years on record for membership
growth, retention, and sponsorship investment.

Incoming Chair Rod Baker expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity, acknowledging the
outstanding work of Lori Ulrich and recognizing the responsibility that comes with the position.
Baker stated, “I’m excited to build upon the foundation that has been laid by the many
Maysville Area Chamber of Commerce Board Chairs that have come before me. Our outgoing
board chair Lori Ulrich has done a fantastic job, and I have some big shoes to fill.”

Looking ahead, Baker emphasized his goal to see the Chamber play an even greater role in the
growth and expansion of the business community in Maysville and Mason County. He
highlighted the importance of collaboration with community and business partners to promote
overall growth and well-being. “I look forward to working with Kaci and the board of directors
over the next two years to make that happen,” Baker added.

Outgoing Chairwoman Lori Ulrich expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve and
reflected on the Chamber’s significant growth and participation during her tenure. Ulrich
stated, “It has been my honor to serve as the Maysville Area Chamber of Commerce Board
Chair for the past two years. We have been blessed to see both tremendous growth and
participation in our chamber.”

Ulrich expressed confidence in the incoming Chair and the entire board, stating, “I am excited
to see what the future holds for both Maysville, Mason County, and the Chamber. I know that
Rod and the rest of the board will do an outstanding job moving our community forward.”

The newly elected Vice Chair, Danny Weddle, will serve alongside the 12 returning directors and
the following individuals also recently elected to the board:
Jennifer Donahue, Ledger Independent
Micah Evans, International Paper
De’Sarae Perry, Maysville Community and Technical College
