Maysville Area Chamber of Commerce Launches “Love Local” Campaign to Support Community Growth and Sustainability

The Maysville Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the launch of its new “Love Local” campaign, a community-focused initiative encouraging residents to invest in Maysville’s growth by supporting local businesses of all kinds. Running through the holiday season and beyond, the “Love Local” campaign highlights the power of choosing to spend, invest, and engage within Maysville and Mason County, reinforcing the positive impact local support has on the area’s economic vitality, unique character, and overall community well-being.

“Our ‘Love Local’ campaign is about more than shopping—it’s about fostering a resilient and thriving Maysville,” said Kaci Foster, Executive Director of the Maysville Area Chamber of Commerce. “We’re encouraging everyone in Maysville and Mason County to be intentional about where they spend and invest, knowing that every dollar and every choice made locally strengthens the community we all share.”

Investing in Maysville’s Future

Through the “Love Local” campaign, the Chamber of Commerce is uniting the community around the idea that supporting local businesses contributes directly to Maysville’s quality of life, sustainability, and future growth. The campaign encourages residents to choose local options for all needs, from dining and retail to services and professional expertise.

Community Involvement and Local Support

Each week, the Chamber will share stories and insights about Maysville’s local businesses through social media, email newsletters, and community partnerships. This series aims to help residents discover new businesses, understand the wide-ranging impact of local spending, and see firsthand the difference they’re making by choosing Maysville first.

Local business owners are also getting involved, with many planning to participate by offering specials, sharing personal stories about the value of community support, and collaborating on events or promotions. The Chamber hopes the campaign will inspire residents to view their everyday spending as an investment in a stronger, more connected Maysville.

How to Participate

The “Love Local” campaign invites every member of the Maysville community to take part by:

  • Choosing local options whenever possible, for everything from groceries and gifts to services like automotive repairs or health care.
  • Sharing their experiences on social media using the hashtag #LoveLocalMaysville to celebrate and promote the businesses that make our community special.
  • Spreading the word by encouraging friends, family, and neighbors to support the local economy, ensuring Maysville remains vibrant and resilient.

“Supporting our local businesses is about preserving Maysville’s unique character, but it’s also about building a stronger community for generations to come,” added Kaci. “We’re all in this together, and with each choice, we’re contributing to Maysville’s bright future.”
