🎉 Happy Birthday, Paula! 🎉Today we’re celebrating one of our amazing Chamber Board members, Paula! 🎂Paula serves as Banking Center Manager at First State Bank and joined the Chamber Board because she was looking for ways to be more involved in the community and grow through networking and connection. Her commitment to engagement and leadership is a great asset to our Chamber.Paula is very involved in our Chamber and rarely misses an event. She is also actively engaged in Leadership Horizons and Rotary, always showing up and supporting our community in meaningful ways. I’ve truly enjoyed getting to know her through these connections, especially riding together to the last conference (I may have talked her ear off, but it was a great trip and a great time together!).When she’s not working or serving on the Board, you’ll find Paula enjoying hiking, working out, and even some computer gaming. She’s also known for her love of organization, something she takes pride in both professionally and personally. At home, Paula enjoys life with her two sons, Colton and Kylan, and her two dogs Turkey and Delilah. She loves a good cup of coffee, cheesecake, and spending time at her favorite local food & retail spots. She also shares how special downtown Maysville feels to her, calling it beautiful and almost magical. She also recently celebrated a work anniversary at First State Bank, and we are so grateful for her dedication both professionally and in our community. When asked what she’s most proud of, Paula shared that she’s always proud when she has everything organized, and she credits attending leadership events with helping shape her leadership style and growth. Please join us in wishing Paula a very happy birthday and a wonderful year ahead! 🎈🎉❤️ ... We just wrapped up our first Partner Mix & Mingle and the turnout was incredible! So many new faces, and I truly loved getting the chance to put names with faces and start building those connections. The networking and relationships formed at Chamber events are priceless, and today was a perfect reminder of that. Our popcorn bar was a hit, and the energy in the room was everything we hoped for.A special thank you to our sponsors, The Ledger Independent and Fleming-Mason Energy, for helping make this event possible. We are so grateful for your support of our partners and our mission. We are also exploring hosting Partner Mix & Mingles on a quarterly basis, and would love feedback and interest as we look ahead. We can continue to host them here at the Chamber, but if any partner business would like to host in the future, we would love to hear from you. Additionally, we’ve already had three First Friday Coffee sign-ups for 2027, March, April, and May are now filled. If you’d like to get your business on the calendar, please reach out early to secure your preferred month. You can email me at director@maysvillechamber.com.
