Uplifting, Inspiring, and Empowering: Maysville Area Chamber’s 3rd Annual Women’s Leadership Summit

The Maysville Area Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce the resounding success of its 3rd Annual Women’s Leadership Summit, held on March 19th, 2024, at Crosspoint Community Church. With an overwhelming response from the community, the event welcomed a sold-out crowd of over 200 women, eager to engage in a day of empowerment, education, and networking.

Annually themed “We Are the Stories We Tell Ourselves,” the summit epitomized the Chamber’s commitment to uplifting and growing the local female workforce. Throughout the day, attendees participated in a dynamic lineup of panel discussions, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities, designed to address key challenges and opportunities facing women in the workforce today.

The summit covered a wide range of topics that resonate with professional women of all ages and backgrounds, including:

  • Leading the Next Generation of Female Leaders
  • Navigating Work-Life Balance
  • Building A Supportive Network
  • Leading Through Change & Uncertainty

Led by local women with diverse backgrounds, the panelists and moderators brought a wealth of knowledge, experience, and insights to the table. Their stories and expertise provided invaluable guidance and inspiration to attendees, empowering them to navigate their own career journeys with confidence and resilience.

Chamber Board Chairman, Rod Baker said, “This was our most successful Women’s Leadership Summit yet. Over 225 women from all professions, backgrounds, and walks of life came together to learn, share, and network with one another. Kaci and the team did a wonderful job of putting together a line up of dynamic speakers and panelists. Thanks to our sponsors and Chamber partners for their continued support as we work to find ways to bring programs such as this to our community.”
