Maysville Young Professionals announces new program recognizing emerging leaders.
Pioneering the Future: “Maysville Area’s Top 4 Under 40″ – Where Legends Begin.
The Maysville Young Professionals are thrilled to announce the launch of their inaugural “Maysville Area’s Top 4 Under 40″ list, a community-driven initiative designed to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of young professionals under the age of 40 in Maysville and Mason County.
The Maysville Young Professionals are a vibrant community of driven individuals dedicated to personal
and professional growth. With a mission to foster connections, empower leadership, and enrich the local
community, they provide networking opportunities, skill development, and civic engagement initiatives
for young professionals in Maysville and Mason County.
In collaboration with the Maysville Area Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Visit Maysville, the
“Maysville Area’s Top 4 Under 40” list aims to spotlight individuals who have demonstrated exceptional
leadership, innovation, and dedication to the community.
The program seeks nominations from the public, inviting community members and leaders to put forward
individuals who are actively contributing to Maysville and Mason County in various professional fields.
Nominations can be submitted through the official form available on the Maysville Area Chamber of
Commerce website from now through April 30, 2024.
Though the Maysville Young Professionals organization has no membership fee associated, there is a
donation required to nominate individuals for the “Maysville Area’s Top 4 Under 40” list. All proceeds
from this initiative will go to fund a community service project chosen by the four honorees. Funds raised
through the nominations will be matched by the Maysville Area Chamber of Commerce and Visit
Maysville. Projects may include contributions to the downtown business district and improvements to
community spaces.
“We are excited to help launch the ‘Maysville Area’s Top 4 Under 40’ program, shining a spotlight on the
remarkable accomplishments of our young professionals. These individuals play a crucial role in shaping
the future of Maysville and Mason County,” said Katelyn Bailey, Tourism Director of Visit Maysville.
The Maysville Area Chamber of Commerce, acting as the host and supporter of the initiative, expresses
enthusiasm for fostering community engagement and recognizing emerging leaders. “This initiative aligns
with our mission to connect and promote businesses and community partners, showcasing the vibrant talent within our region,” said Kaci Compton, Executive Director of Maysville Area Chamber of Commerce.
The “Maysville Area’s Top 4 Under 40″ program recognizes the importance of supporting initiatives that
highlight the positive impact of local professionals. “We believe in the power of our community, and this
program reflects our commitment to promoting and celebrating the achievements of our young talent, as
well as making a tangible contribution in the form of a service project” said Maysville Young Professionals representative, Deputy Ryan Swolsky of Mason County Sheriff’s Office.
The culmination of the “Maysville Area’s Top 4 Under 40″ program will include a recognition reception,
where honorees will be celebrated for their contributions to the community.
